I am Rebecca, a woman on a mission to change people’s lives of people forever.
I’ve struggled with my weight every day I can remember. Never been able to pass a mirror without doing the “body check” and spent my teenage years and early twenties trying every diet and workout on the planet. When I was leaner, I was fighting the temptation of food and when I was heavier, I would be in a constant battle with my own self-esteem. But things are different now. By no means perfect but I now use food and movement as a way to fuel my body and provide what it physically and mentally. I thought struggling with my weight meant I couldn’t help people despite having the drive to help people build the life they deserve.
But I couldn’t be further from the truth. I know every emotion, craving, and hurdle people will battle on a daily basis. Because I battle them myself. The difference now, is I have a rewired mindset, tools, and strategies to overcome battles so I can continue to live my best life.
And I can help you live your best life too. On my journey, I fell in love with training and learned how to balance nutrition to fit around my life and goals. I wouldn’t say I’m like most trainers, I would say I’m more like my clients. And that is more reason why I can help you. Although I may have not walked in your shoes I’ve certainly walked in a pair similar.
If you are looking for a trainer who has a 6 pack, is lean all year round, and doesn’t accept food as fuel and pleasure, then I am not the person for you.
If you are looking for a trainer who understands human’s physical and emotional needs, loves food (and wine), and wants to see you thrive physically and mentally then I am most likely the perfect trainer for you.
I’m doing my best out here to live a good life, surely that is what life is about right?
